DIY No Sew Skirted Console Table

A while back I introduced you to our lackluster foyer.  In case you don't remember, here it was~

It was just so blah.  So, I decided I wanted a skirted console table.  Something like this~

So, I set to work.  While mine is not professionally styled like the one above, I'm proud of what we accomplished~

We built the table that we used.  It's 56" long x 18" deep x 35" tall.  I used a really low-cost fabric purchased on sale at Joanne fabric to make the skirt, and I used iron in hem tape to make it!  No sewing required!  I plan to make a nicer skirt for it, but I wanted to cut my teeth on cheap fabric.  I eventually hope to use a cool, fun print.

Here is the break down:
Wood to make table: $65
4 yards of fabric at 40% - 60% off: $20
Iron on Hem Tape: $10
Mirror: Repurposed
Spray Paint for Mirror: $5
Jug lamp from West Elm: $150
Vase from Homegoods: $18
Frame from Pottery Barn: $39
Mercury Glass Votives from Pottery Barn: $7
Fresh Flowers: $8
Glass Vase: Repurposed

Grand Total:  $322 --far less expensive than I could have bought a table and had a custom skirt made--not to mention what accessories would have been!

DIY tutorial coming soon!
